II. General information on data processing

This policy concerns the processing operations on the website https://portal.ecxport.at/.

Within the scope of electronic data processing, FFG uses IT service providers data processors (eg. Hosting Services) who might obtain access to your personal data in the course of their work in case they require the data to render the respective service.

III. Specific processing operations

1. Operation and maintenance of the website

In order to make our websites available to you and to prevent or ward off attacks on our website, data of persons who access the website are automatically processed. This data may include personal data. This may include, in particular, the date and time the page was accessed, the IP address, the name and version of the web browser used and other information in log files.

The legitimate interests of the FFG pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR is to be named as the legal basis.

The legitimate interest is the interest of the website owner to secure the operation of the website and to enable interested persons to visit the website. It is also in the legitimate interest of the website owner to protect the website from attacks and misuse and to ensure the security and stability of the systems.

Your data will be deleted by us as soon as the purpose for storing and processing such data no longer applies, provided that no longer retention period is stipulated by statutory provisions.

2. Analysis of website usage via Matomo

Matomo (www.matomo.org), a web analysis tool, is used to analyse the use of the website. Matomo is used by us in a data-saving configuration so that no cookies are set and we are also unable to identify returning visitors to the website.

This particularly concerns technical data that is collected when visiting the website. This data is anonymised so that it is not possible for us to identify individual persons.

The legitimate interests of the FFG pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR is to be named as the legal basis. The legitimate interest is in the interest of FFG to carry out an analysis of the use of the website with the aid of a data-saving tracking method and anonymised user figures.

The data will be deleted by us as soon as it is no longer required.

IV. Rights of the data subject

1. Right to access

You have the right to obtain information from us about all personal data relating to you that is processed by the FFG.

2. Right to rectification and right to restriction of processing

You may request the rectification of inaccurate data or have incomplete data completed. You may, under certain circumstances, for example if the accuracy of the data is contested, demand restriction of processing until the accuracy of the data is verified to the extent that such data may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest.

3. Right to erasure

Under certain circumstances, you have the right to obtain erasure of your data, e.g. if your data is not processed in accordance with data protection requirements.

If you have asserted your right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing vis-à-vis FFG, we are obligated to communicate such rectification or erasure of data or restriction of processing to each recipient to whom the personal data concerning you have been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.

4. Right to object

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR.

5. Supervisory authority

Irrespective of the possibility to bring an action before a Regional Court (Landesgericht) pursuant to section 29 (2) of the Austrian Data Protection Act or of other remedies, if any, you shall have the right to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority in your place of residence if it is assumed that the processing of personal data is carried out unlawfully.
