We are very grateful for the Tecxport initiative. In the summer of 2019, our first profile was released on the Tecxport site and from the beginning, we were represented on the website as a result. In addition to marketing the device, it is also important for us to carry out scientific recognition and cooperation with various institutions.
Our technology does not work on the basis of the worldwide valid measurement standard for bacteria measurement, but on the basis of a measurement approach for the measurement of the specific enzyme activity of the target organisms, which is well known in science, but not yet used for this purpose. Accordingly, we need some verification, validation, evaluation and also some standing over science and scientific collaborations.
Last but not least, we then decided to also participate in the Austrian Technology Days. First in Hong Kong (2021), then in Hubei (2021) and the second one not too long ago again in Hubei as well as in Southeast Asia (2022). So far, we have had very good experiences with this, because it has also enabled us to establish contacts with public administration and science, and the perception of our technology has increased. In Hong Kong, there were already very good networks in advance. The Technology Days have increased awareness of our technology even more -> We have been able to gain additional contacts in the scientific community.
However, the biggest success is that we got a contact to a Chinese institute, the CRSRI (Changjiang River Scientific Research Institute), within the framework of the Austrian Technology Days Hubei. We applied with CRSRI for a joint project, which was approved by the Chinese MOST (Ministry of Science and Technology) and the Austrian FFG in July 2022 as part of an Austrian-Chinese research cooperation. The project is scheduled to start in January 2023 and uses our measurement technology as a basis to develop new measurement parameters.
